In Spring 2026, I presented a 7 look collection at the Lasell Senior Runway as part of my fashion design Capstone class. My collection was titled "Juvenescence", an ode to my childhood and the blissful joy I constantly felt. Semester 1 work
During the first semester I created 3 outfits from my collection. These include the Princess Outfit, Notebook Outfit, and Memory Outfit.
The Princess Outfit consists of a three-tiered ruffled a-line skirt, a stretch knit bandeau top, and Apoxie Sculpt Heart Top.
The Notebook Outfit consists of a hand knit striped tank top using stockinette stitch and 1x1 rib for the hem and French Terry yoga pants with an accent waistband and side panel.
The Memory Outfit consists of a three-tiered circle skirt, button up shirt with Peter Pan collar and short puff sleeves, and a reversible vest with a ribbon tie.
Semester 2 Work
For the second semester, I had to complete the remaining 4 garments in my collection. These include the Party Doll Outfit, Playtime Outfit, Doodle Bear Denim Outfit, and Crayon Parachute Outfit.
The Party Doll Outfit is a strapless babydoll dress with decorative streamers and a ruffled tulle hem. The empire waistline is accentuated by the accent waistband that has streamers coming out of it. The dress is lined with boning and breast cups.
The Playtime Outfit consists of an off the shoulder T-Shirt with mismatched long sleeves and Bermuda shorts with a gathered elastic waistband. The shirt sleeves appear as a short sleeve layered over a long sleeve, where the long sleeve is sewn into the armhole.
The Doodle Bear Denim Outfit consists of low rise bootcut jeans and matching button up top. The front of the jeans have two rounded front pockets, one of which has an item pocket. The button up top has a collar, v shaped neckline, and an accent placket. The sleeves are short with a small gathers at the cuff.
The Crayon Parachute Outfit consists of a strapless structured bodice with a lace up back and a five-tiered high-low skirt. The outer bodice piece is only boned at the exaggerated points that extend from the neckline. This piece is sewn to a fully boned bodice layer with a sweetheart neckline. The top two tiers of the Parachute Skirt are circle skirts with gathered tulle underneath. The bottom three layers are gathered pieces of parachute with gathered tulle underneath.
