princess outfit
This outfit is inspired by Disney princesses, specifically Aurora, who was my favorite as a child. The non-textile/sculptural top is reminiscent of heart shaped princess bowls, glitter shaker toys, and the messy, yet beautiful craftsmanship of a child.

memory outfit
This outfit is inspired by places that feel like home. The vest is inspired by the wicker basket tea sets my Grandmother would give me. The lining fabric is reminiscent of fabrics and patterns found in her home. The top tier of the skirt is made in a fabric that looked like the couch at my daycare and the bottom tier looks like an old loveseat at my house. The middle layer is made of the same baby blanket I had and coordinates with the top.

party doll outfit
This outfit is inspired by all of the fun themed birthday parties my mom would throw me. One of my favorites was at the American Girl Doll Store where I had a tea in their party room. The colors of this dress and the stripes of the streamers are reminiscent of the wallpaper in that room.

crayon outfit
This outfit is inspired by classic elementary school items. The top is reminiscent of a Crayola crayon box, fit with handmade crayon appliqués. The skirt is made of a gym class favorite, the play parachute. The primary colors and whimsical volume of the skirt perfectly capture everything my collection is about.
Top: Polyester Crepe Back Satin, Variety of fabrics used for appliques, embroidery thread
Skirt: Polyester Crepe Back Satin (lining), Play Parachutes, Quilting cotton (waistband), Tulle
notebook outfit
This outfit is inspired by lined paper and composition notebooks. The yoga pants are a classic wardrobe piece from the 2000s and for the top I wanted to showcase a new skill I learned.
Top: Merino Acrylic blend yarn (blue & white), dk weight yarn (red)
Bottoms: Stretch Lycra (composition), French Terry (black(
playtime outfit
This outfit is the most inspired by my actual wardrobe as a child. I loved peace signs and misnatched anything. The pattern on the shorts are inspired by the playful carpets at jump house places, arcades, and roller rinks.
Top: Stretch Cotton (green), Bullet Liverpool Knit Cotton (Sleeves), iron on rhinestones
Shorts: Quilting Cotton, Elastic in waistband
doodle bear outfit
This outfit is inspired by the Doodle Bear toy, a teddy bear you can draw on with markers that come out in the wash. The bear comes in a denim variety and is wearing little jeans with pockets and a fly front. I wanted to recreate the essence of that toy through this matching set.
